Straight As!

Josh has continued to make excellent progress at school, earning straight As this reporting period! His period 2 grades are not a good measure of his progress; he was at the school only 12 days during that reporting period (due to our move and his school transfers), so he was being tested in part on material that was taught before he arrived. But his grades are up from period 3 too (where he made all As and Bs), and show his hard work. Congratulations Josh!

More recent fun

We visited the Science and History Museum last weekend, and I think the boys had more fun outside the museum than inside this time, due to:

(1) the reflective turtle:

(2) the T-REX!!!

and (3), the fountain (unphotographed). Josh did a good job skirting the water, but Lucas plunged right in and was soaked!

Before spring break started, Josh's after-school program rented a karaoke machine for a day, which was a lot of fun. Here is Josh trying to sing B.O.B.'s "Magic" (which turned out to be much too fast for karaoke; we will be more prepared next time, as Josh is already working on a great rendition of Justin Bieber's "Baby"):

Zoo trips

A few photos from recent visits to the Zoo.

Lucas is not afraid to touch the snakes now either:

And of course Josh never was:

The kangaroo statute is always on the must-stop list, and always has a line of kids waiting for their turn. I don't understand why it is such a big draw, but it is:
